A ROBBER attacked two pensioners as they walked along a Nuneaton road, dragging one woman to the ground as he grabbed her handbag.
The women, aged 76 and 70, abercrombie clothing one of whom has been recently widowed, were uninjured but badly shaken by their ordeal in Abbey Street at 1.20pm yesterday.
As they walked past Lexington Court, they were pounced on from behind by the man who snatched one of the women's handbags.
He also attempted to grab the other pensioner's bag, but she held on.
The robber refused to give up and eventually the woman was hauled to the floor.
Juicy Couture Charm NecklaceThe attacker ran off towards Lexington Court, taking one of the handbags which contained a large quantity of cash, and also a pension book which was later found in a hedge near Halfords.

The attacker was white, slim, 5ft 10in, wearing a dark jacket and jeans and a baseball cap.
